It has LITERALLY been forever since I've blogged. Tonight I was talking about blogs with some friends and we found ourselves looking at our 10 year old blogs with the last post posted 6 years ago. Sheesh! It's 11:13 on Tuesday night. Bachelor night with a group of ladies from church. Not ever paying attention to the actual show. LOL! It's nice to have some mom/girl time, you know?

I did it!

The table and six chairs was kind of a chore but it's finished. Well painted that is. I still need to sand it though.

A new year

This year I want to do a lot more home improvement projects. Like paint my kitchen table! Hopefully it will be white in a few weeks:)! I want to take more trips to see the temple and to see the new Gilbert temple site. It's so amazing to see. Especially when you have a 3 year old who is just as excited!

Haggarton Family weekend!

What a fun weekend we had! My brother & his family came down from Utah and we had a family reunion. We went to parks, had great food, and the guys all went to super cross while we had a girls night out! On Monday we went to the Arizona Sonoran Desert museum. It was so beautiful. The kids had a great time seeing and interacting with all the desert animals.

We had so much fun at the Thatchers on Christmas eve doing the nativity & gift exchange. Grandma & grandpa Thatcher got the boys there own wagon. So COOL!
We had a great time at the Haggartons as well. Yummy food, gift exchange, awesome presents, and we all got to talk to my brother Josh on his mission! It was so special. My favorite part was when he bore his testimony to us. What a wonderful testimony he has! He is a great example to look up too. Love him!

Our New Addition

Jonas Chandler Thatcher. Born August 24th, 1:20 am. Weighed 8lbs 3oz. 21 inches.
I woke up around 5 am Tuesday the 23rd having some contractions. Like every 20 min. Then some would be every 10 min. The funny thing was I was waiting for them to go away. I was scheduled to be induced 5 am on the 24th. I did NOT want to go into labor on my own. I was induced with Jeremiah and loved it so I wanted the same thing for this one. Anyways, I was contracting the whole day. Like 15 min apart ALL day. Just waiting for them to go away because I was going to be induced, right? We got the carpets cleaned that day & spent some time at my in laws. After dinner I took a bath & shower, contractions were every 5 min! We were on our way to the hospital. WOW I was in a lot of pain! I was 2 centimeters the day before. So I get to triage and I'm at a 7!!! 7 centimeters!!!! What was I thinking waiting all day for the contractions to go away. Of course I asked for an epidural. Ummm... yes please! Got the meds, pushed a couple of times, and he was here. It was just an eventful day. Everything is good and he is a good baby. I'm very blessed.
