Got this lamp on sale for $15 3 1/2 years ago at Wal-Mart. Got some trim to put around the bottom. I might add something else to it later.

I got some wired ribbon and gathered one side of it and then hot glued it to the shade.

This 11x17 picture was $6 at Ross. I got it 2 years ago. I painted the frame flat black.

My sister Jenna help put my picture arrangment on the floor.
These shelfs were an ugly cream color. I got them at Ross for $6 a piece like 5 years ago.

The BIG frame was free from Deseret Book when I used to work there 5 years ago. Painted that black too. Too much black you think? I am really liking this black, white, and red thing. I have had all this stuff for years and now I am actually doing something with it!
NEXT; These will be next on my list of clearence fixer upers. This shelf and this kitchen table. I might paint them both black. Tell me if thats going to be too much black?

I think it might be too much black. Maybe do the table white and the chairs red and the bookshelf black. I don't know. Do whatever you want to do.
So crafty i'm impressed. I don't think it's too much black especially since you have the white tile on the table top. Great job keep it up!
